EVENT GOALS

  • Promote STEM education: Spark student interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by providing a hands-on learning experience with AI and robotics.
  • Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Encourage students to apply their knowledge and creativity to build and program robots that can perform complex tasks.
  • Cultivate teamwork and collaboration: Create an environment where students can collaborate with peers, mentors, and industry professionals to achieve a common goal.
  • Foster innovation and entrepreneurship: Provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and develop innovative solutions using AI technology.

EVENT FORMAT

In the AI Humanoid Robotic Challenge, robots should be designed to perform a specific set of tasks, such as:
  • Speech recognition and response (using AI and LLM)
  • Human interaction and collaboration
  • Object recognition
  • Object manipulation
  • Walk for short distance

 

Competition and Awards 

  • Tasks are graded from 0 to 10 points
  • 30 minutes per robot, per team

 

Teams will compete in a final event where their robots will be evaluated based on various criteria, including:

  • Functionality and performance (60 points)
  • Programming skills 
  • Team collaboration
  • Presentation and communication
  •
